Lots of Spring/Summer items now beginning to trickle into the shops.

As I mentioned last month there are jewel tones as well as earthy shades for this season.   Perhaps, bright colours are not your thing - why not try bringing a bright colour into your accessories - or vice-versa tone down a bright shade with an earthy accessory.

WORLD COMPLIMENT DAY - 1 MARCH 2017

World Compliment Day.  We live in a culture where we find it embarrassing or awkward to accept a genuine compliment.  The majority of us make excuses for the way we look - why?

The common responses to a compliment are:

• 'Oh I have had this dress for ages'
• Bought in sale - so cheap'
  
• 'my hair looks nice? - that's 'cos I washed it this morning', etc

We all need to learn how to accept compliments.   We spend enough money on ourselves - clothes, shoes, hair, makeup, etc - so next time you are given a compliment say 'THANK YOU' with a big smile and no excuses.

Every day should be  treated as a Compliment Day.

I cannot believe I used to dress like the photo on the right - how old fashioned and frumpy - non of the style is right for me.

• Accept who you are and what Mother Nature has given you - look at positives within yourself
  
• Dress to flatter your given figure - wear clothes that you feel  amazing in direct from your existing wardrobe
  
• Clothes can make us look slim, fat, short, tall, young old - it doesn't have to be that way
• Everyday is worth looking and feeling fantastic
• Give yourself a compliment everyday when you look in the mirror (make sure you invest in a full length mirror)
• Do not compare yourself with magazine images - its unreal

We are all guilty of being too critical of ourselves

• Too fat/too thin
• Got big thighs
• Skinny arms
• Big bottom
• No boobs
• Feel under-dressed
• Not good at putting outfits together in  a stylish way
• Rubbish at accessorising
• Hate shopping as can't make decision to save myself

It doesn't have to be that way - honestly.   Let me help you make the most of yourself - working on your wonderful attributes and minor negatives.
