September - October is the perfect to start concentrating on your Autumn/Winter wardrobe. We all know that Spring stock starts appearing in stores from February - March (which is our winter). So if you looking for the perfect winter coat get in there early !
I always say 'shop in your wardrobe before hitting the shops'. You will be truly amazed at what you find lurking and feeling lost and unwanted in the back of your wardrobe. Let me help you re-invent some of your clothes - giving you more ways to wear and get value for you hard earned cash. My blog on the above subject will be available to view online on Sunday 8 October
A lot of the shops just now have poor quality, throw away fashion pieces with materials and finishing touches not the best. Although you think you are over-stretching your budget - if you buy right the first time and invest in a quality garment you will, in fact, save money in the longer term.
My blog on the above subject will be available in more detail t online on Sunday 15 October
SEASONAL STYLE Once you purchase a few 'core staples' then you will be investing well and will love and enjoy what you are wearing. Season after season these key pieces will come out and you will always look stylish and on-trend with a bit of tweaking, accessorising and colour working.
What's Hot this season...
animal print (as always)
dresses (midi length - for those who suit midi length)
I am loving that we are continuing with lovely bright colours to give us the 'feel good, happy effect' over the changing season. If you don't do bright then maybe think of having brightness in one of your accessories to ring the changes and bring the colour trend to your wardrobe.
Colours trending this season are predominately:
All in a wide variety of shades and textures. Some of the names are fab too ie pumpkin, tawny port, shaded spruce, marmalade !
Always happy to help so if there is something you would particularly like some advice with please let me know.
