Hi Everyone
First of all we will look at BRAS. As you know there are so many to choose from – T-shirt, Racer-Back, Push-up, Plunge and the list goes on…….. but the key is to get a bra that fits you so that all your ‘assets’ are sitting in the correct place. It is money well spent on buying a bra and Lingerie Shops are the place to go – the assistant will FIT you – NOT measure you. How do we know when a bra is fitting us? First of all the numeric relates to the back measurement and the alpha relates to the cup size. A bra should not ride up at the back if so the back measurement is too big. A bra should fasten on loosest hook when purchased and over time with wear you will need to go onto the tightest hook. If we have excess breast tissue popping over or out to the sides of our bra – it is too small in the cup and gives us the appearance of ‘multiple’ boobs. You should not have strap marks when you remove your bra. A correctly fitting bra will give the appearance of you being slimmer and will elongate your torso creating moreof a more of a waist. KNICKERS Well like bras there are so many to choose from – Bridget Jones knickers, g-strings, high waisted, shorts, Shapewear, Spanx …….. The secret is to always go a size bigger than your dress or trouser size to prevent extra skin coming to the fore! Apart from this they are more comfortable too. The massive range of shapewear available in knickers as well as all-in-ones has come on leaps and bounds over the years – these are not meant to make you look slimmer but to give you a smooth/polished look and finish. HOSIERY Your tights/hold ups are like make up for the legs – don’t ever leave this important piece of underwear to the last minute – hoping for the best. If you are going for bare legs – remember pedicures, waxing nd plenty of body lotion. PETTICOATS What is a petticoat you ask?? This is something every woman should have in their wardrobe. It can transform clothes allowing a dress to slide and skim over your body creating a flawless finish. I hope the above has been helpful. I have so much more to share with you on this and other style and wardrobe advise. I look forward to speaking to you soon. Next blog will be what to wear – the Little Black Dress – wait and see. Have a Stylish Day Karen x
