Skirts, skirts and more skirts...

IIt's that time of year again to show off those legs.  I have found these varied skirts to suit different occasions.

​Denim skirt from Gerard Darel (John Lewis). Would look good with a striped top - lots about. Good with flat pumps too or a wedge if looking for a bit of height. If showing belt loops you should wear a belt - great selection in Reiss. Be a bit careful if you are hip and thigh girl as the pockets aren't positioned in the best place for your body shape.

​Lovely lace pencil skirt from Reiss -colours off white or black. Knee length and high rise - would look lovely with a soft fabric blouse and high strappy sandals.

​Whitestuff - strawberry and cream A-line skirt - lovely with a fitted fine knit top on cooler days. Would look good in early/late Autumn teamed with a fitted jacket and a pair of boots. A-line is good to hide the hips and slim the waist

​Fenn, Wright And Manson pencil skirt reduced to £49.00. This would be fantastic from desk to dinner date. Pointed toe shoe with heel - pointed always elongates the leg.

​Jolie Moi skirt pleats at waist and side pockets. Be lovely with a plain no-nonsense top or a plain bardot top or even the 'back in fashion' fitted body top. Great with a pair of flats for a sweet, feminine look.

​Online exclusive by Closet at John Lewis. Be good to wear a fitted cardigan with this lovely swing skater skirt. Could team with white, navy or red. Would look good on a boyish figure.
